Therians: The Awakening

Those who begin to read will begin to change.  Are you ready for a paradigm shift?

For generations the Therian race has been suppressed, oppressed and imprisoned by design…
Trapped in their own flesh…forced to delete their existence from the records of time…
Forced to hide who they truly are for the survival of their species…
Awaiting the arrival of their savior to liberate them from bondage…
That great liberator could be Abin Best. A mute, is what the Therians call the unknowing amongst them. They are the unwitting of their kind.
Abin could be the savior of Therian-kind if he so chooses.
Born with more power than he could ever imagine. More responsibility than he could ever conceive. But his potential has been buried deep beneath the sands of time. Deep inside of him and those like him. Waiting to be awakened.

Meet the Author

B. Van Randall (aka The Ghetto Nerd) was born and raised in the inner city of Detroit, MI. For most of his life he resided on Detroit’s eastside attending public schools and ultimately graduated from a suburban eastside high school. During his junior and senior years in high school Randall wrote and produced his first hip hop album with his now lifelong friend.
Randall eventually went solo, changing his name to Jezt Bryan (aka Red Eyez) and releasing an LP that featured several other rappers and R&B singers.
In 2003, Randall (under the stage name Jezt Bryan) became the first rap artist to perform for troops serving overseas on the military base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The performance received national attention.
In 2009, Randall (under the name Van Randall) wrote, directed and produced “Family Ties: A Van Randall Drama”. The stage play was publicly and successfully performed at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. It received flattering local reviews. He went on to later co-create an experimental sketch comedy series titled “The Randalls & Co.”
Today Randall is multi-faceted in his artistry. He is a playwright, author, screenwriter, poet and hip-hop musical artist (under the name the Ghetto Nerd). He aspires to be an all-around creator, wordsmith and master of his world.
